Susan Gage Caterers strives to deliver the highest level of catering services with minimal impact to our environment. We believe that as a corporate citizen we must be a responsible environmental steward. To focus our belief, we have developed a company-wide green mission statement and goals to guide us in creating to a more sustainable, eco-focused operation. Our green mission and goals will continue to evolve along with the needs of our operation.
Our MISSION is to create a culture of green practices that reduces our carbon footprint and results in more sustainable operating practices while maintaining our current standards of service.
To help ensure that we are implementing the right green solutions for our business, we have hired Green Living Consulting, a D.C. based company that works with businesses and households to adopt eco-practices (www.greenlivingconsulting.com). Their role will be to help guide us in our efforts as well as act as an objective observer to grade our progress. As this is a continuing effort, over the next year we will post the results of our efforts as well as additional efforts that we undertake to become a more responsible corporate citizen.
